Make the subject hot. Make the delivery not.

Rather lovely article on digital offerings and their progress toward perfecting flaws. Hipstamtic was the 17th-most-popular paid app in the iTunes store in mid-July.

In the online space we can airbrush our flaws (“I’ll detag that picture of me with a pie in mouth, thankyou very much”) but it seems fallible forms of presentation help to give us a that desired natural and honest look.

With Hipstamtic, we haven’t got time to sit around and wait for the corrosion. We’ve too much on to let the fermentation of halcyon memories run its course.

In the words of Withnail, we want the finest wines available to humanity. And we want them here, and we want them now!
