‘Stupid’ or just plain stupid?

Digital is smart. Analog is stupid. Be stupid

Wow, now we need giant boards thrust around our necks to have a good time. Can’t help but feel this is a little…well, ‘stupid’. But for all the wrong reasons. I like Diesel’s Be Stupid campaign, the jeans brand has created an engaging and overt philosophy for its disciples to follow. But there’s no point in dressing this stunt up too much…which is kind of what they did. With cardboard. 

The philosophy for Diesel’s FacePark read:  the park is much more fun than the internet. “Instead of wasting our lives in front of our computers, we chose to waste our lives in the park“.

For me, that all depends. I wonder whether these Berliners would’ve embraced ‘Stupid’ so much had it rained?

I know this isn’t really entering into the spirit of the whole thing, but give me the music, the people and the beer….and take my head out of these stocks while you’re at it!
